We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to join our team as a Red Hat System administrator. This individual will oversee and manage our customers hosting and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Install and configure web hosting software, including cPanel, WHM, and Apache.
- Manage and maintain the WHMCS platform.
- Monitor server performance and proactively identify and address any issues
- Manage user accounts, domains, and databases.
- Set up SSL certificates and secure the server environment.
- Implement and manage backups to ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement new features and enhancements.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices.
- Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting website issues.
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure seamless integration with other systems.
- Conduct regular security audits and implement security measures to protect the server.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field
- Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA).
- Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE).
- cPanel Certified Partner Accreditation (CPCP).
- WHM Administration Certification Exam (CWA).
- cPanel Professional Certification Exam (CPP).
Experience and Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in cPanel and WHM administration.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python and shell scripting.
- Experience with Google Workspace and Office 365 management.
- Experience with optimizing PHP, MySQL, and configurations.
- Knowledge of server administration, security, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with server-side programming languages such as PHP and Python.
- Sound knowledge of Unix and Unix-like operating systems such as RedHat, Ubuntu and SUSE.
- Knowledge of networking principles: TCP/IP, Routing, DNS.
- Good Understanding of virtualization (XEN, OpenVZ, KVM) is a MUST.
- Good Experience in handling Performance issues on the operating systems level.
- Familiar with operating systems upgrades/Patching.
- Good Knowledge of Scripting languages (Shell/Perl).
- Understanding of Cloud Computing tools and platforms such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
- Knowledge of server administration, security, and troubleshooting.
- Familiar with Ansible, Jenkins CICD.
- Knowledge of Oracle Database, Networking, and Storage devices will be a plus.
- Experience working with CDN Services such as Cloudflare, Sucuri
- Experience with DNS and DNSSEC configuration and management.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
