Senior System Analyst

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior System Analyst to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, project managers, and development teams to analyze business processes, design system solutions, and drive successful project delivery.

The role requires strong analytical thinking, system design capabilities, stakeholder management skills, and hands-on experience in software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Key Responsibilities

Business & Requirement Analysis

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders.

Conduct workshops, interviews, and requirement gathering sessions.

Transform business needs into functional and system requirements.

Create Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD), and Use Cases.

System Analysis & Solution Design

Analyze existing systems and identify improvement opportunities.

Design end-to-end system solutions aligned with business objectives.

Create process flow diagrams, system workflow diagrams, and data flow diagrams.

Develop system integration specifications and API requirements.

Ensure proposed solutions meet scalability, security, and performance standards.

Project Delivery & Coordination

Act as the liaison between business users and technical teams.

Collaborate with Developers, QA Engineers, Product Owners, and Project Managers.

Support project estimation, planning, and solution feasibility assessment.

Monitor requirement changes and assess project impact.

Testing & Quality Assurance

Prepare test scenarios and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).

Validate delivered solutions against business requirements.

Investigate issues and coordinate resolution with technical teams.

Documentation & Governance

Maintain complete project and system documentation.

Ensure compliance with SDLC, internal standards, and best practices.

Support knowledge transfer and training for business users.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related fields.

Minimum 7 years of experience in System Analysis, Business Analysis, or Solution Design.

Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Experience in Web Application and Enterprise System development projects.

Solid knowledge of Database Design and SQL.

Experience with API Integration, RESTful Services, and System Integration.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Procurement Technology, E-Procurement, Marketplace, Supply Chain, or B2B Platform projects.

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Knowledge of Cloud Platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).

Understanding of Microservices Architecture.

Experience leading System Analysts or cross-functional project teams.
