About the Role
As part of its long-term strategic diversification, the Group has launched Azizi Energy, a dedicated division focused on power generation, thermal energy, and hybrid power solutions. Azizi Energy is currently engaged in major coal, thermal, and hybrid power initiatives, including dismantling, re-erection, commissioning, and full-scale operational programs across international locations. This division aims to become a specialized global player in power plant development, energy engineering, and end-to-end project execution.
To support this growth, we are looking for a seasoned recruiter either from an in-house TA team or a consulting/agency background who has successfully hired mid to senior-level engineering and technical roles for energy, utilities, EPC, or power plant projects. Prior Middle East or international/overseas experience is essential.
Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for technical, engineering, and leadership roles across power plants and energy projects.
- Build strong talent pipelines for coal, thermal, gas, renewable, hybrid, and EPC project functions.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and project needs.
- Manage sourcing strategies across LinkedIn, NaukriGulf, international job boards, referrals, agencies, and deep-search techniques.
- Screen profiles, evaluate technical fit, and coordinate interview processes end-to-end.
- Develop market intelligence reports, competitor mappings, and talent availability insights.
- Ensure recruitment SLAs, compliance, candidate experience, and reporting standards.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional recruitment experience, with a minimum of 5 years dedicated to the energy, utilities, EPC, or power generation sector.
- Proven experience working in in-house Talent Acquisition teams or with top-tier recruitment agencies supporting large engineering or energy clients.
- Middle East experience or strong overseas/global hiring experience is required.
- Ability to manage high-volume + specialized leadership hiring.
- Strong understanding of global talent markets, especially India, GCC, Southeast Asia, and Europe for energy-sector talent.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and market research capability.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in hiring for energy-sector roles, including coal, thermal, gas, hybrid, renewable, and EPC project positions.
- Deep understanding of power plant functions, such as BTG, commissioning, operations & maintenance, engineering, QA/QC, project management, and plant leadership roles.
- Ability to source and evaluate technical talent using Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, NaukriGulf, GulfTalent, international job boards, and deep-search techniques.
- Demonstrated success in managing end-to-end recruitment cycles for high-volume and specialized senior-level positions.
- Strong knowledge of global and Middle East recruitment practices, including visa processes, talent markets, and relocation scenarios.
- Excellent stakeholder management, especially with engineering directors, project teams, and senior leadership.
- Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess technical competency, project exposure, and cultural fit.
- Ability to prepare market maps, talent intelligence reports, and competitor research within the energy sector.
- Effective communication, negotiation, and candidate relationship management.
- Capable of working in a fast-paced, project-driven environment with strict deadlines and multiple hiring priorities.
