Job Purpose
The Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for managing the recruitment cycle for construction, engineering, technical, project-based, and site-related positions. The role focuses on sourcing and hiring qualified candidates who can support project execution, site operations, technical departments, and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment cycle for construction and technical roles, from manpower request to sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer coordination, and onboarding handover.
- Source candidates for engineering, project management, technical office, site, procurement, document control, cost control, accounting, administration, and support roles.
- Build strong pipelines for critical and hard-to-fill construction positions such as Project Manager, Site Engineer, Technical Office Engineer, Architect Engineer, Document Controller, and site support roles.
- Conduct initial screening and HR interviews to assess technical background, project experience, site readiness, stability, communication, and availability.
- Coordinate with project managers, department heads, and technical managers to understand role requirements and shortlist suitable candidates.
- Follow up on technical interviews, hiring approvals, offers, joining dates, and pre-employment requirements.
- Maintain an updated database of construction and engineering candidates for current and future projects.
- Prepare monthly recruitment reports showing vacancy status, candidate pipeline, pending feedback, accepted offers, and hiring risks.
- Use the ATS to manage candidates, update recruitment stages, track hiring progress, and maintain accurate recruitment records.
- Develop recruitment dashboards and basic analysis to track hiring performance, time to hire, source effectiveness, offer acceptance, and vacancy progress.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
- Previous experience in construction, contracting, engineering, real estate development, or project-based hiring is a MUST.
- Strong ability to understand technical job requirements and coordinate with engineering/project teams.
- Experience sourcing engineers, project staff, site roles, and technical office profiles.
- Good experience in managing end-to-end recruitment for different functions and levels.
- Hands-on experience using ATS platforms to manage recruitment pipelines and candidate data.
- Good knowledge of recruitment channels such as LinkedIn, referrals, headhunting, job boards, and social media recruitment.
- Strong ability to prepare recruitment reports, dashboards, and hiring analysis.
- Strong communication, follow-up, coordination, reporting, and negotiation skills.
