Job Description

Job Purpose

The SeniorTalent Development Specialist is responsible for supporting and executing the company's Talent Development agenda through effective management of the Performance Management, Learning & Development, Talent Management, Internship, and Graduate Programs.

Key Responsibilities

1. Performance Management & Appraisal

  • Manage and coordinate the annual Performance Management Cycle from objective setting through final appraisal.
  • Coordinate with Managers and Department Heads to establish annual employee objectives and KPIs.
  • Ensure performance objectives are linked to employees actual job responsibilities and expected results.
  • Follow up on completion of all Performance Management stages and ensure adherence to deadlines.
  • Review appraisal submissions for completeness and compliance with the approved methodology.
  • Analyze performance results and highlight key trends, gaps, and development requirements.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the Performance Management system.

2. Learning & Development

  • Lead the company's Learning & Development process in coordination with HR management and business stakeholders.
  • Conduct the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA) in coordination with Department Heads and Managers.
  • Analyze performance appraisal results, competency gaps, business requirements, and future capabilities to identify training needs.
  • Develop the annual Training Plan based on identified business and employee development requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external training providers in addition to manage training logistics, nominations, attendance, and documentation.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and measure learning outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate training records and employee learning history.

3. Talent Programs

  • Support the identification of high-potential employees based on approved criteria and performance data.
  • Design and implement development initiatives such as:
  • High-Potential Programs
  • Leadership Development Programs
  • Career Development Programs
  • Succession Planning initiatives
  • Individual Development Plans (IDPs)
  • Monitor participants progress, evaluate program effectiveness & prepare periodic reports on talent program performance and outcomes.
  • Coordinate with business leaders and mentors to ensure successful implementation of talent initiatives.

4. Internship & Graduate Programs

  • Design, coordinate, and continuously improve the company's Internship and Graduate Programs.
  • Coordinate with universities and relevant educational institutions to attract high-potential candidates.
  • Support the development of selection criteria and assessment processes.
  • Coordinate interviews, assessments, and selection activities.
  • Design onboarding and orientation activities for interns and graduates.
  • Coordinate with Technical Managers and Mentors to develop learning plans and practical assignments.
  • Monitor trainees progress and collect feedback from mentors and managers.
  • Conduct periodic evaluations of interns and graduates.
  • Support the identification of high-potential graduates for potential employment opportunities.
  • Maintain a talent pipeline of qualified young engineering and business graduates.

5. Talent Acquisition

  • Support the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment activities.
  • Participate in interviews and assessments for selected positions.
  • Support the development of competency-based interview and assessment tools.
  • Support employer branding activities related to graduate, internship, and talent programs.
  • Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment between recruitment requirements and future talent development needs.
  • Support recruitment campaigns targeting universities and early-career talent.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (HR certifications are a plus).
  • 4–7 years of experience in Talent Development (Learning & Development, OD, Talent Acquisition), preferably within a structured HR environment.
  • Strong understanding of Performance Management Process, job Analysis methods, and Learning & Development strategies.
  • Advanced skills in Excel and HR data analysis.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
