Job Summary

The Senior Talent Management & Organizational Development (TMOD) Specialist serves as a strategic subject matter expert responsible for the end-to-end design, execution, and continuous improvement of the company's talent and organizational strategy.

Reporting directly to the Director of Talent Management, this role translates high-level corporate goals into actionable programs that drive employee growth, leadership continuity, and a high-performance culture.

The scope of work spans managing full performance appraisal cycles, architecting career frameworks, and establishing robust succession planning pipelines for high-potential talent. Additionally, the role drives organizational effectiveness by designing targeted learning and development initiatives, facilitating company-wide change management, and leveraging talent analytics to ensure all programs directly align with and support strategic business goals.

Principal Duties

  • Talent Management (Individual Focus): Owns and drives performance management systems, strategic talent reviews (e.g., 9-box grid), and robust succession planning for critical organization-wide roles.
  • Organizational Development (Systemic Focus): Leads organization design, architects and cascades competency frameworks, drives strategic change management initiatives, and designs culture-building projects to enhance overall effectiveness
  • Data & Analytics: Leverages talent analytics to generate insights for decision-making, tracking engagement, turnover, and performance metrics.
  • Process Improvement: Documents and scales HR practices, including job architecture, competency modeling, and performance improvement plans.

Detailed Job Description

Talent Management Responsibilities

  • Design Performance Frameworks: Develops goal-setting processes, continuous feedback models, and annual evaluation cycles.
  • Lead Talent Reviews: Facilitates calibration sessions using tools like the 9-box matrix to identify high-potential employees.
  • Build Succession Pipelines: Maps critical organizational roles and creates targeted readiness plans for future leaders.
  • Manage Career Pathways: Establishes clear competency matrices, job architectures, and internal mobility frameworks.
  • Guide Development Planning: Directs the creation of Individual Development Plans (IDPs) to address specific skill gaps.

Organizational Development Responsibilities

  • Drive Change Management: Applies structured change methodologies (e.g., Prosci, ADKAR) to guide leadership and teams through structural, cultural, or digital transitions.
  • Optimize Culture Initiatives: Designs, deploys, and analyzes annual employee engagement surveys to improve workplace culture.
  • Support Organization Design: Partners with executives to restructure departments, redefine spans of control, and clarify accountabilities.
  • Formulate Competency Models: Defines core, functional, and leadership behaviors required to achieve long-term business goals.
  • Facilitate Team Effectiveness: Leads alignment workshops, conflict resolution sessions, and team-building interventions for dysfunctional groups.

HR Analytics & Systems Responsibilities

  • Track Talent Metrics: Monitors key data points like promotion rates, quality of hire, and turnover correlations.
  • Manage LMS/HRIS Modules: Configures talent modules in platforms like Workday, SuccessFactors, or Cornerstone for optimal user experience.
  • Present Executive Insights: Translates complex workforce data into clean dashboards and actionable strategic recommendations for leadership.

Qualification Requirements:

Education

Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related.

Work Experience

A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in HR, specifically focused on Talent Management, Succession Planning, and Performance Management, with experience in the technology industry preferred.

Certification/License

At least one of the following :

  • Senior Professional in Human Resources
  • Prosci Certification (ADKAR Model)
  • Senior Talent Management Practitioner
  • Organization Development Certified Professional
