Key Responsibilities:
Tax Reporting & Compliance
- Prepare accurate and timely VAT, WHT, Zakat, CIT and Customs-related filings in accordance with ZATCA requirements.
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation for Tax, Zakat, WHT, VAT, Customs, and Transfer Pricing submissions.
- Manage transfer pricing documentation, including the Master File, Local File, and Country-by-Country reports, ensuring compliance with transfer pricing byelaws
- Ensure compliant withholding tax treatment for cross-border transactions including treaty applications.
- Prepare zakat and tax provisions in accordance with the Income Tax Law, the Income Tax By-laws, the zakat regulations, and ZATCA's guidelines, including proper classification of zakat base components (e.g., investments and loans etc.).
- Support preparation of zakat and income tax returns, DFCTs, and related disclosures with the external tax consultant.
- Maintain alignment with HMMME's tax framework, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all tax-related financial records.
- Complete assessments/ queries with ZATCA related Zakat, Tax, WHT and VAT.
- Manage refund administration with ZATCA, ensuring timely submission and follow-up.
Process Improvement & Systems
- Identify opportunities to improve tax, zakat, VAT, customs, and TP processes.
- Maintain updated SOPs, tax checklists, and internal process controls.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / CANIAS) and advanced Excel to improve accuracy and automation.
Experience:
- Minimum of 6 years of progressive experience in Saudi Arabia, with Strong knowledge of Zakat, Tax, VAT, WHT, Customs, and Transfer Pricing compliance.
- Prior Big Four Zakat & Tax experience preferred.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, CANIAS, Oracle, etc.), and advanced Excel
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Tax-related certifications from ZATCA and SOCPA are preferred.
