Job Scope:
The Senior Technical Consultant is accountable for providing advice and consultancy on projects, enhancements and maintenance of the solution development efforts. S/He designs, develops, tests and implements projects while overseeing a team of Technical Consultants.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Understand customers requirements and propose necessary actions and solutions;
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of solutions provided to clients with the Functional Consultant;
- Collaborate with the Functional Analysts to design, build and test a variety of objects including reports, interfaces, conversion, enhancements, forms and workflows;
- Establish and enforce formal Coding Standard policy, Code Inspector;
- Take part in the development process of technical specifications related to offered solutions;
- Implement software solutions recommending enhancements to systems and services while solving clients complaints and inquiries;
- Conduct User Acceptance Test with the Functional Analyst(s) on the implemented solution;
- Manage any outsourced activities in support of assigned application;
- Create object documentation for the solution built;
- Provide post implementation support for the implemented solution during the stabilization period;
- Follow through the different solutions and implementations to ensure the company methodologies are well maintained highlighting inconsistencies when needed;
- Provide quick and accurate estimates of projects and enhancements;
- Oversee completion of technical specifications;
- Participate in upgrades and programming exercises and implementations;
- Ensure all transports completed by the team adhere to the change management policies;
- Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional user groups and functions worldwide;
- Deliver technical trainings and promote a professional image of the company at all times.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information System, Computer Science or any other related field.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Cloud Platform Integration.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Experience building and supporting IT applications;
- Experience with programming in the related technology;
- Experience with Middleware enhancements, debugging queue RFC and Bdocs;
- Demonstrated ability to successfully lead IT projects of varying size and scope;
- Proven ability to manage change and business integration;
- Good time, project management and presentation skills;
- Customer service oriented, takes initiative in difficult situations;
- Ability to engage in the quality assurance process and business process improvement;
- Ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical customers;
- Ability to manage a project team and technical staff;
