Key Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Lead and manage Solar PV and BESS projects from initiation through development.
  • Develop project execution plans, schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and specialist consultants.
  • Manage project communications and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with client requirements and company standards.

Technical Oversight

  • Manage and oversee the delivery of all technical studies required for renewable energy developments.
  • Review and provide guidance on:
    • Site Screening and Site Selection Studies
    • Feasibility Studies
    • Solar Resource Assessments
    • Energy Yield Assessments
    • BESS Sizing and Optimization Studies
    • Hybrid Solar PV + BESS Assessments
    • Grid Connection Studies
    • Power System Studies
    • Environmental and Social Studies
    • Geotechnical and Topographical Investigations
    • Technical Due Diligence Assessments
  • Challenge technical assumptions and ensure study outputs are technically robust.
  • Review consultant and contractor deliverables for quality and completeness.
  • Provide technical recommendations to clients and project stakeholders.
Stakeholder Management

  • Interface with developers, investors, utilities, regulators, and government entities.
  • Lead technical workshops, progress meetings, and client presentations.
  • Support business development activities and proposal preparation.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or related discipline.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Master's degree is an advantage.

Experience

  • Experienced in renewable energy project development and delivery.
  • Demonstrated experience managing utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects.
  • Strong experience overseeing renewable energy technical studies and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience with projects in Saudi Arabia and the GCC is highly desirable.

Required Technical Knowledge

The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding of:

  • Utility-scale Solar PV technologies.
  • Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
  • Renewable energy project development processes.
  • Grid integration and interconnection requirements.
  • Energy yield assessment methodologies.
  • Feasibility study development and review.
  • Renewable energy regulations and industry standards.

Key Competencies

  • Strong project management capabilities.
  • Solid technical understanding of Solar PV and BESS projects.
  • Ability to manage both technical and commercial aspects of projects.
  • Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
