Job Title: Senior Technical Coordinator-PMO

Position Overview

The Senior Technical Coordinator Fit-Out Projects is responsible for coordinating and managing all technical aspects of interior fit-out works from design development through execution and handover. The role ensures that drawings, materials, methods, and on-site installations comply with project specifications, regulatory standards, and client requirements. The coordinator acts as a key link between design, engineering, procurement, and site execution teams to ensure timely, high-quality project delivery.

This role is responsible for organizing workflows, improving project processes, and serving as a key communication link between internal teams, and leadership.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination & Execution

  • Coordinate day-to-day project progress, timelines, and tasks across multiple concurrent projects.
  • Track project milestones and technical deliverables (design, shop drawings, architectural drawings and approvals, mock-ups) and prepare status updates for leadership and stakeholders.
  • Monitor progress of technical and design submissions and coordinate with procurement to ensure material availability.
  • Ensure precise implementation of approved drawings and finishes.
  • Coordinate with internal teams architectural, MEP, structural, and specialist design inputs to ensure overall design integration.
  • Wherever Required, provide technical guidance and solutions during design and execution stages.
  • Conduct site inspections occasionally to verify that works conform to approved drawings, specifications and design.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as a primary contact for all project teams.
  • Facilitate meetings for review and tracking of project progress and areas of concerns between site teams and technical, design, procurement teams.
  • Provide clear, timely communication of project expectations, changes, and progress.
  • Report risks, delays, or design issues.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including project plans, risk logs, change requests, and reports.
  • Support the creation of dashboards, KPIs, and performance metrics for leadership review.
  • Document and streamline project processes to improve team efficiency.

Risk & Issue Management

  • Identify potential project risks, issues, or bottlenecks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, governance, and quality requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with all internal teams to support project goals.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
  • 712 years of experience in interior fit-out, construction, or related technical coordination roles.
  • Strong knowledge of MEP integration, interior finishes, and fit-out construction sequence.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and project coordination tools.
  • Experience working with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
