Job Summary

Manage architectural technical documentation, review design deliverables, and ensure compliance with project standards and client requirements. This role involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design issues and support site execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate architectural design drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals for compliance with project specifications and design intent.
  • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (civil, structural, MEP) to ensure integrated design solutions.
  • Prepare and review method statements, RFIs, and technical reports related to architectural works.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings for permits, construction, and finishing works.
  • Provide technical support to site teams and resolve design-related queries.
  • Ensure that all architectural documentation aligns with local regulations, codes, and client standards.
  • Supervise the preparation of as-built architectural drawings and project close-out documentation.
  • Participate in value engineering and project optimization discussions.
  • Mentor junior architectural engineers and technicians within the technical office.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in architectural engineering.
  • 7 10 years of experience in a technical office role within architecture or multidisciplinary consulting firms.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, 3ds Max, SketchUp, or other architectural software.
  • Strong knowledge of local building codes, zoning laws, and international standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and design coordination skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
