Hassan Allam Construction is currently seeking a qualified Senior Technical Office Engineer Electrical to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in MEP construction projects, particularly in hospital or healthcare facilities, with solid technical office expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review electrical shop drawings for power, lighting, low current, and other electrical systems.
- Review and process material submittals ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
- Coordinate with site teams, consultants, and other disciplines (Mechanical, Civil, Architecture) to resolve technical issues.
- Prepare and respond to RFIs and other technical documentation during project execution.
- Ensure electrical works comply with project specifications, international codes, and hospital standards.
- Support project teams with technical reports, documentation, and coordination activities.
- Assist in monitoring project progress to ensure alignment with project schedules and quality requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- 4+ years of experience in construction projects with strong exposure to MEP systems.
- Previous experience in hospital or healthcare projects is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, and low current systems.
- Experience in technical office tasks such as shop drawings, RFIs, and material submittals.
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
