Role Description

Senior Technical Office Engineer specializing in furniture. The role involves preparing and reviewing shop drawings, managing bills of quantities (BOQs), and coordinating technical documents related to furniture production. Responsibilities also include ensuring design accuracy, liaising with suppliers and contractors, and overseeing project execution while adhering to timelines and quality standards. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless project delivery is a key component of this role.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for furniture items.
• Develop accurate cutting lists based on approved designs and drawings.
• Prepare and review POM (Parts of Materials) for production and procurement.
• Coordinate with production, design, and procurement teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility.
• Revise drawings and documents based on production feedback or design changes.
• Ensure all technical documents meet quality and production requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
• Proven experience in furniture technical office or furniture manufacturing.
• Strong ability to prepare detailed drawings, cutting lists, and POM.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (and any relevant design software).
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under deadlines and coordinate with multiple departments.
