We are seeking an experienced Senior Technical Office Engineer specializing in wood works to join our dynamic team . The ideal candidate will oversee technical operations related to wood works, ensuring compliance with architectural designs, specifications, and applicable codes while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and review technical specifications and drawings for wood work projects.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure quality control and adherence to design.
- Prepare and analyze reports on project specifications, budgets, and timelines.
- Provide technical support during project execution and address any arising challenges promptly.
- Ensure that all wood work materials meet safety standards and project requirements.
- Assist in the development of project schedules and progress reports for management.
- Review shop drawings and submittals related to wood works and provide feedback to ensure compliance.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor compliance with design and quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical office engineering, with a focus on wood works.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and building codes related to wood applications.
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other relevant design software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with project management software and tools.
