Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Technical Procurement Engineer specializing in Civil Engineering for a full-time, on-site role based in Cairo, Egypt. The candidate will be responsible for evaluating procurement requirements, preparing technical specifications, sourcing materials and services, negotiating contracts, collaborating with project teams, and ensuring materials align with quality standards and project timelines. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing technical drawings, coordinating with vendors, overseeing material approvals, and ensuring compliance with project budgets and schedules.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • 5 to 8 years of proven experience in procurement within the civil engineering in construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of EPC project procurement processes and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships effectively.
  • Experience with sourcing civil construction materials, equipment, and services.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
