Khazna launched in 2020 with a mission to improve the financial well-being of the underbanked, who have little access to formal financial services by providing access to convenient, effective and secure smartphone-based financial services. Khazna has received the Central Bank of Egypt's first prepaid card license and aims to become the go-to neobank for underbanked consumers across the Middle East. In the next phase of its journey, Khazna is looking to continue scaling up its operations in Egypt and to launch its operations in Saudi Arabia.

Job Summary

As a Senior Technical Product Manager, you will lead a fast-paced environment driving the development and implementation of our financial solutions with a focus on maximizing customer value and ensuring technical excellence. You will own the product development process, working closely with engineering, product, and executive stakeholders to design, build, and scale products that advance the company's vision and strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own product development, translating it into a clear roadmap and detailed requirements.
• Partner with engineering, product and business stakeholders to shape and prioritize the product vision not just individual features.
• Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle for complex, technically demanding products from concept through rollout and iteration.
• Fully accountable for the product backlog, balancing technical debt, scalability and business priorities
• Write and decompose business requirements into epics and user stories, setting the standard for other PMs on the team.
• Define and oversee acceptance criteria and testing strategy ensuring delivered products meet both business needs and technical quality bars
• Mentor and provide guidance to mid-level and junior PMs.
• Act as a key stakeholder in cross-functional and leadership discussions, representing the product's technical and business trade-offs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field (Master's or MBA a plus)
• 5+ years of experience in product management including 3+ years in technical product management with a track record of owning complex and technical products end-to-end.
• Proven experience translating complex business problems into scalable technical solutions.
• Deep understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) with experience shaping process for a team rather than just following it.
• Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional and stakeholders including engineering team.
• Has technical background and able to engage in architecture and technical trade-off discussions with engineering teams.
• Experience in fintech or financial services is strongly preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience mentoring or leading other product managers.
