NaqaChem Water Solutions is looking for a Senior Technical Sales Engineer – Water Treatment Chemicals to join our growing team.

The role combines technical water treatment expertise with business development and sales, focusing on water treatment chemicals and solutions for industrial, commercial, and institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and manage sales of water treatment chemicals and treatment programs
Conduct client visits, water analysis, system assessments, and technical evaluations
Develop treatment programs for cooling towers, boilers, RO systems, and wastewater treatment
Troubleshoot water treatment and chemical dosing issues
Prepare technical proposals, quotations, reports, and presentations
Develop new customer relationships and identify business opportunities
Provide technical support and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
Monitor treatment performance and recommend optimization solutions
Follow up on opportunities from initial technical assessment through to order and implementation

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Process Engineering, or a related field
4+ years of experience in water treatment chemicals, specialty chemicals, or technical sales
Strong knowledge of water chemistry, chemical dosing, and treatment programs
Practical knowledge of cooling towers, boilers, RO, and wastewater treatment
Strong technical troubleshooting and analytical skills
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Ability to prepare technical proposals and commercial quotations
Strong sales and business development mindset
UAE driving license is preferred
UAE water treatment market experience is preferred
