The Senior Technical Sales / Specification Engineer plays a crucial role in our growth strategy by leveraging deep technical expertise and sales acumen to drive product specification, increase sales, and maintain positive customer relationships within the Construction industry. This position requires not only strong technical knowledge but also the ability to communicate effectively with architects, contractors, and clients, providing them with tailored solutions that meet their needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, architects, and contractors to drive product specifications.
- Provide technical support and training to clients and the sales team on product features and benefits.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and demonstrations of our products to stakeholders at various levels.
- Collaborate with the product development and marketing teams to refine offerings based on client feedback and market trends.
- Conduct thorough market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and product positioning.
- Participate in industry events, expos, and seminars to showcase our product offerings and network with potential clients.
- Create detailed technical documentation and specifications for product proposals and submission to clients.
REQUIREMENTS- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in technical sales or specification engineering within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to influence and build relationships.
- Proficiency in technical software and tools used in construction and specification documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
