Senior Technician, Electrical Maintenance (Utility)

3. JOB PURPOSE:
Supervise and carry out the electrical maintenance, scheduled preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting,
breakdown maintenance of all HV and LV electrical systems/equipment to ensure effective operation of
equipment.
4. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Job Specific Accountabilities
uF0B7 Issue and control isolation certificates/electrical work permits in accordance with Companyu2019s safetyregulations and the general rules to ensure safe operation and maintenance of electrical apparatus on power network.
u2022 Supervise and carry out repairs on various types of electrical equipment, which includes repairing or replacing defective parts, obtaining necessary suppliers, parts and tools as necessary and testing to ensure equipment functionality.
uF0B7 Supervise planned and breakdown electrical maintenance work by electrical technicians and contractorpersonnel installations ensuring that work is done according to Company's specifications and standards/regulations.
uF0B7 Identify and initiate necessary materials requisitions for replenishment of the stock to ensure adequate supplies of stores and spare parts required for maintenance and repair work in liaise with the Supervisor.
uF0B7 Carry out preventive or routine maintenance on electrical equipment as instructed by the Electrical
Maintenance Supervisor.
uF0B7 Maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance work completed including work orders and maintenance
log, describe the fault, work carried out and materials, time and labor used, and record test results on
various units for further reference.
uF0B7 Contribute in updating and improving Maintenance Checklists, Procedures & Guidelines.
uF0B7 To be proactive with a logical approach to challenges.
uF0B7 Engage in new projects issues and upgraded equipment installation & Performance etc. follow-up.
u2022 Performs switching and isolations of electrical systems/equipment up to u06F3u06F3kV.

uF0B7 Carry out all maintenance jobs in line with assigned time standards.
uF0B7 Inform the Maintenance Supervisor in case additional resources are required to carry out the job withinthe assigned time frame.

uF0B7 Contribute to the identification of areas and opportunities for continuous improvement in the operatingprocedures, modification of functional processes, machinery or equipment.

uF0B7 Comply with relevant HSE policies, procedures & controls and applicable legislation and sustainabilityguidelines in line with international standards, best practices and ADNOC Code of Practices.

uF0B7 Maintain the work environment clean and tidy before, during and after executing the job, in line withestablished standards of Hygiene and Housekeeping.
Reports
uF0B7 Collect technical data from the field as required and provide inputs to prepare Section progress reportsfor Company Management.
uF0B7 Provide input for the preparation of Method statements and initiate Near Miss reports.

6. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
uF0B7 Diploma in Electrical discipline / Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in the
relevant field
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
uF0B7 6 years of relevant experience maintaining electrical equipment within a large industrial plant,preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.

u2022 Communication with ADNOC LNG counter part for power availability and safe restoration during blackout
