About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for a role to join Jumeirah Gulf of Bahrain Family.

The main purpose for this position is to maintain and repair the existing equipment's concerned also doing the PPM of equipment's to have well maintained operation of equipment's without any shutdowns.

Qualifications:

Essential - High School Diploma

Desirable - A Bachelor Degree in Engineering, or any other relevant

Experience - Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant field within the hospitality industry

Duties and responsibilities of this role:

. To carry out the maintenance of equipment's where he works
. To order and replace the correct spares of equipment's.
. To complete the daily breakdown work orders.
. To ensure working conditions and report any unsafe condition for the seniors.
. To organize work in a standard and professional manner.
. To maintain the work area safe and tidy conditions.
. Follow - up critical spare parts for operational requirements.
. To carry out the maintenance of equipment's where he works
. To order and replace the correct spares of equipment's.
. To complete the daily breakdown work orders.
. To ensure working conditions and report any unsafe condition for the seniors.
. To update the Logbook with regards to any issues during the shift.
. Maintain high standard of all engineering services required for kitchen and laundry areas
. Attend guest complaints as well as complaints from the other departments as directed
. Keep close track of the performance of all electro mechanical equipment within the hotel and the respective working area
. Maintain logged records of all equipment as directed
. Do a daily walk around the kitchen and laundry area to ensure good working condition and corrective action is taken accordingly
. Make sure that all materials needed to perform the jobs are available prior to work commencing
. Maintain engineering area is safe, kept clean and in an orderly manner. Keep close coordination with other engineering staff for smooth operation
. To maintain the work area safe and tidy conditions.
. Be familiar of Jumeirah Policy and Procedures.
. Be familiar with and comply with all relevant Engineering Department policies, processes and procedures.
. To perform other duties that management may from time to time reasonably require.
