Senior Technician, Lab (FRAC)

JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for supervising the lab personnel and managing the operations technical support lab whichperforms testing and analysis of drilling and completion fluids and related functions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Job Specific Accountabilities
u2022 Supervises and coordinates activities of personnel performing chemical and physical analysis and testsrequired to support global operations. Includes product formulations, pilot testing, trouble-shootinganalysis.
u2022 Assign and schedule lab testing and projects.
u2022 Responsible for training lab personnel in the performance of their job duties, safe work habits, andrepair of all test lab equipment.
u2022 Compiles, analyzes, and interprets results.
u2022 Investigates complaints on existing products.
u2022 Evaluates, documents, and reports on product performance in test environment.
u2022 Handles special projects, as assigned.
u2022 Comply with all UAE, ADNOC, ADNOC Drilling and client Asset Integrity Management codes ofpractice.
u2022 Performs other similar or related duties as assigned by Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:
Minimum Qualification
u2022 Bachelors of Science Degree
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
u2022 Minimum 5 yearsu2019 experience in a Test Lab.
u2022 Knowledge of drilling fluids and/or completion fluids design, application and performance.
u2022 Experience leading/managing laboratory teams and projects required.
u2022 Knowledge of function and operation of specialized drilling fluids testing equipment.
u2022 Good verbal and written communication skills.
u2022 Good analytical skills.
