Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Testing Engineer to drive quality assurance across our products. It requires a strong foundation in both manual and automated testing, test strategy design, and quality governance.
The ideal candidate will take ownership of the testing lifecycle, ensure product reliability, and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Test Strategy & Planning
- Define and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans
- Estimate testing efforts and define test coverage scope
- Ensure quality standards are applied throughout the SDLC
Manual Testing
- Design and execute detailed test cases (functional, regression, integration, UAT support)
- Perform exploratory testing to identify edge cases and usability issues
- Validate business requirements and system workflows
- Report, track, and verify defects
Automation Testing
- Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts
- Build or improve automation frameworks where needed
- Execute automated regression suites
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
Test Management & Reporting
- Manage test cases and test cycles using test management tools (e.g., TestRail or similar)
- Track testing progress and provide quality reports and metrics
- Monitor defect trends and quality KPIs
Collaboration & Leadership
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams
- Participate in requirements analysis and sprint planning
- Mentor junior QA engineers
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement in QA processes
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing / QA
- Strong experience in bothmanual and automation testing
- Hands-on experience with automation tools (Cypress, Selenium, or similar)
- Experience using test management tools (TestRail, or similar)
- Performance and security testing experience
- Solid understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- Experience in API testing
- Strong analytical and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building or improving automation frameworks
- Knowledge of programming languages (JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, etc.)
- Experience with CI/CD tools
- ISTQB certification
