Senior Trade Finance Role

New senior Trade Finance role. Seeking Oil & Gas background, petrochemicals also suitable - soft commodities experience will not be suitable on this occasion.

Seeking a minimum of minimum 10 years relevant international experience in Trade Finance for this senior Trade Finance role, ideally 15 years.

The existing team is two people; this role will sit between the head of the team and a junior analyst.

Key experience:

1. Relationships with International banks
2. Understanding of what the banks want
3. Able to quickly advise on errors in document presentation for junior staff
4. End-to-end management of bank releases, insurances, LC (Letters of Credit), Bills of Trading, N.B.
5. Able to work in a start-up i.e. lean environment
6. Extensive experience working closely with O&G/ Petroleum and refined products traders to make their dreams a reality
7. Very strong business development and relationship management skills, particularly with bankers.
