Our Trading Operations Department would like to welcome a detail-oriented.

Senior Trading Operations Analyst, Cash Equities Specialist in our office in Dubai

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end trade lifecycle for equity transactions including order capture, trade execution, confirmation, clearing, and settlement.
  • Ensure accurate processing of Client orders and Monitor and manage trade exceptions, failed trades, and settlement issues.
  • Liaise with executing brokers, Exchange, custodians, and internal support team to resolve operational matters.
  • Monitor settlement obligations and ensure timely delivery of securities and funds.
  • Handle corporate actions processing including dividends, rights issues, stock splits, and bonus shares.
  • Oversee operational aspects of client account opening and onboarding and coordinate with compliance in relation to KYC, and regulatory requirements
  • Maintain client account records and ensure proper segregation of client funds and securities.
  • Perform and supervise daily operational reconciliations including:
  • Client cash balances
  • Securities positions
  • Exchange trade confirmations
  • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies promptly.
  • Prepare operational reports for management and regulators.
  • Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Work with technology teams to ensure brokerage systems operate efficiently.
  • Act as the key point of contact between operations and internal teams including Compliance, Finance & Technology

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of equity brokerage operations and trade lifecycle
  • Understanding of exchange clearing and settlement processes
  • Experience with brokerage back-office systems
  • Knowledge of reconciliation processes
  • Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CFA, CISI, or equivalent (preferred).

Experience Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in trading operations with experience with multi-market equity trading (US, GCC, Europe) preferred.
  • Familiarity with digital trading platforms and online brokerage models.
