About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Senior Traffic Engineer to support major transportation and road development projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in traffic engineering, capacity analysis, and road safety, along with a proven track record working with reputable engineering consultancy firms in the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead traffic engineering studies, traffic impact assessments, and capacity analysis for road and highway projects.
- Develop and review traffic models, simulation scenarios, and technical reports.
- Provide expert input on road safety audits, traffic management plans, and highway design reviews.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with project standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support engagement with government and semi‑government stakeholders in Riyadh for project approvals and technical discussions.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical excellence within the team.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or a related field).
- Master's degree in Transportation or Traffic Engineering is mandatory.
- Minimum experience:14+ years for Saudi nationals
- 16+ years for non‑Saudi candidates
- Minimum 7 years of experience with a recognized engineering consultancy firm, specifically on road and highway projects.
- Strong expertise in traffic engineering systems, capacity analysis, traffic modeling, and highway road safety.
- Prior experience working on government or semi‑government projects within KSA, preferably in Riyadh.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and report‑writing skills.
