Role Overview
The Senior Tunnel Engineer will lead tunnel design activities and provide technical oversight for underground infrastructure projects, including structural support systems and permanent lining design.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead tunnel and underground structure design activities.
- Deliver structural support systems and permanent lining designs.
- Review engineering calculations, drawings, and technical deliverables.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance.
- Ensure compliance with project standards, codes, and client requirements.
Key Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- 10–14 years of experience in tunnel and underground structure design.
- Proven experience delivering complex tunnel and underground infrastructure projects.
Professional Knowledge & Skills
- Advanced knowledge of tunnel engineering design methodologies.
- Strong experience with structural analysis and engineering design software.
- Strong leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
- Ability to manage technical deliverables and mentor junior engineers.
