Position Overview
As a
Senior UI/UX Designer, you will take a leading role in shaping the user experience and visual direction of our digital products. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into intuitive, scalable, and elegant user experiences. This role requires strong ownership, strategic thinking, and the ability to mentor others while delivering high-quality design outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design process for web and mobile applications, from discovery and concept to high-fidelity designs and handoff.
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and polished UI designs that align with user needs, business goals, and brand guidelines.
- Plan and conduct user research activities (interviews, usability testing, surveys) and synthesize insights into actionable design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and high-quality implementation.
- Advocate for user-centered design principles and ensure exceptional user experiences across all touchpoints.
- Own, maintain, and evolve design systems, including style guides, components, and pattern libraries, to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Review and iterate on designs based on user feedback, data insights, and stakeholder input.
- Provide design direction, feedback, and mentorship to junior designers when needed.
- Stay current with UI/UX trends, tools, and emerging technologies, and proactively apply best practices to ongoing work.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a UI/UX Designer, ideally within a digital agency or product-led environment.
- Strong proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, and Adobe Creative Suite (XD, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and usability principles; knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating user-centered design thinking, problem-solving skills, and high-quality web and mobile products.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale to stakeholders.
- Strong attention to detail, creativity, and the ability to manage multiple projects independently.
- A degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field is preferred but not required.
