Senior Underwriter - Life and Personal Accident

We are currently recruiting for an Senior Underwriter - Life and Personal Accident for our client to be based out of their Abu Dhabi office.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team and process New & Renewal business in line with company guidelines in order to maintain company profitability and achieve the budget figures.
• Receive Client's / Brokers and BDMs daily queries in respect of Group Life & PA insurance.
• Business review, Underwriting Analysis, Quote preparation and reporting in adherence to Department's UW guidelines.
• Follow Departments TAT and improve conversion ratio keeping the steady profitability.
• Prepare and review policy documents.
• Processing of quotations/tenders requests as per company standard underwriting guidelines.
• Department Self Audit, and Internal and External company audit
• Prepare client's corresponding (letters/faxes/emails).
• Co-ordination with internal department in respect of daily policy servicing.

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

- Bachelor Degree

- Insurance certificate is an added value.

Minimum Experience:

3 -5 year in Group Life & PA Underwriting.
