Senior Unreal Engine Environment Artist (Games)

We are looking for a highly experiencedSenior Unreal Engine Environment Artistto join our team atiBLOXX Studios DMCC, Dubai.

In this senior role, you will lead the creation of high-quality, immersive hyper-realistic environments that define the visual identity of our games. You will collaborate closely with art, design, and engineering teams to deliver visually stunning and technically robust worlds that elevate player experience.

Please note:Applications from 3D Generalists or Props Artists will not be considered for the role. This position is strictly for senior-level Environment Artists.

Responsibilities

• Lead the creation of high-quality environments in Unreal Engine from blockout to final polish
• Define and maintain visual benchmarks, pipelines, and environment art standards
• Collaborate with our Asset Artists, Level Designers, and Technical Artists to ensure cohesive world-building
• Optimize environments for performance while maintaining high visual fidelity
• Mentor and support junior environment artists, providing guidance and feedback
• Work closely with technical teams to implement shaders, lighting, and material setups
• Contribute to improving workflows and production efficiency
• Stay up to date with industry trends, tools, and emerging technologies

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience as an Environment Artist in game development
• Expert-level proficiency in Unreal Engine
• Strong understanding of composition, lighting, color theory, and environmental storytelling
• Proven experience shipping high-quality PC, mobile or console titles
• Deep knowledge of optimization techniques and real-time rendering pipelines
• Strong material and shader creation skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• A strong portfolio demonstrating senior-level environment work in Unreal Engine (required)
