Job Description

Senior Urban Design Engineer

Location: Dokki, Giza, Cairo

Working Hours: Full-time – 8 hours/day

AIM United Ltd is looking to recruit a Senior Urban Design Engineer with a strong background in urban design and a passion for delivering innovative, high-impact design solutions. The successful candidate will join our dynamic team in Dokki, Giza, and contribute to the development of urban design projects from concept to final execution while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and present high-quality urban design concepts aligned with project objectives and client requirements.
  • Work closely with architects, urban planners, landscape architects, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure design consistency and integration.
  • Apply strong knowledge of urban design principles to enhance project functionality, aesthetics, and user experience.
  • Prepare detailed design documentation, including drawings, renderings, diagrams, and presentations.
  • Participate in client presentations and clearly communicate design concepts and strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of master plans and urban design proposals.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovative approaches in urban design.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members when required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Urban Design, Architecture, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of professional experience in urban design, master planning, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in relevant design and visualization tools, including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other relevant software.
  • A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, technical skills, and experience in urban design and/or master planning projects.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Good understanding of urban design principles, planning concepts, and design development processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in large-scale master planning or mixed-use development projects.
  • Knowledge of sustainable urban design approaches.
  • Understanding of local building codes, planning regulations, and zoning requirements.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with different design disciplines.
