Responsibilities:
- Develop and refine user interface text, microcopy, and in-app messaging that guide users and enhance their experience.
- Work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and researchers to create user-centred content that aligns with product goals and user needs.
- Establish and uphold voice and tone guidelines to ensure consistency across all digital touchpoints.
- Participate in or lead user research sessions to understand user behaviour, pain points, and preferences, and translate these insights into effective content strategies.
- Develop and maintain content documentation, such as style guides and content templates, ensuring that all team members have access to up-to-date resources.
- Regularly review and update content based on user feedback, testing results, and performance analytics.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior UX writers and content strategists, fostering their growth and development.
Requirements:
- Proficient in written English and Arabic languages.
- 5+ years of experience in UX writing with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on complex digital products.
- Ability to craft clear, concise, and engaging content that aligns with brand voice and user needs.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, with the ability to communicate effectively with designers, developers, and other stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of user experience principles and how content can enhance usability.
- Ability to analyse user research, testing data, and other metrics to inform content decisions.
- Attentive to grammar, punctuation, and style consistency across all content.
