Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Video Editor to lead the editing and post-production of video content across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate has a strong storytelling sense, excellent technical skills, and the ability to translate creative concepts into high-quality video content that aligns with brand identity and marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce high-quality video content for digital marketing, social media, advertising, campaigns, and brand storytelling.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project objectives and creative direction.
- Lead the post-production process including editing, color correction, sound design, and basic motion graphics.
- Ensure all video content aligns with brand guidelines and visual identity.
- Optimize videos for different platforms (social media, websites, ads, YouTube, etc.).
- Review and enhance raw footage to deliver engaging, polished final outputs.
- Manage multiple video projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
- Provide creative input on concepts, storytelling, pacing, and visual style.
- Mentor and support junior video editors when needed.
- Stay up to date with video trends, formats, and platform best practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media Production, Multimedia, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- 5+ years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
- Strong portfolio/showreel demonstrating video editing and storytelling skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of color grading, sound editing, and video formats.
- Experience editing content for digital and performance marketing campaigns.
- Strong attention to detail and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
