Senior Video Editor / Motion Graphics Animator
(Long-form YouTube Documentaries)
This is a full-time onsite position in Sheraton Al Nozha, Cairo.
About the Role
We are looking for ahighly skilled senior video editorwith strong storytelling and motion graphics experience to work on long-form YouTube documentariesthat make complex science, engineering topics, and major world events visually clear and emotionally powerful.
The role involves editing 3060 minute narrative-driven documentaries that combine editing precision with design thinking to tell stories that captivate millions of viewers worldwide.
This is a full-time onsite position in Sheraton, Cairo.
Responsibilities
- Edit long-form science and engineering documentaries for YouTube (3060 minutes)
- Design and animate 2D motion graphics and technical animations in After Effects
- create dynamic map animations in After Effects using GeoLayers.
- Use Photoshop and Illustrator to design custom animation assets.
- Build cinematic pacing, rhythm, and tone that elevate storytelling.
- Collaborate closely with the creative director on structure and visual design.
- Deliver YouTube-ready final outputs with seamless audio/video integration.
- Maintain high production quality suitable for top YouTube documentary channels
Required Skills
- 5+ years editing experience in Adobe Premiere Pro
- 5+ years experience in Adobe After Effects
- Experience with GeoLayers
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Audition
- Experience editing long-form YouTube videos (15+ minutes)related to science, engineering, or technical topics
- Strong understanding of documentary storytelling
- Ability to work with large editing projects and complex timelines
- Strong English comprehension
Qualifications
- Fluent in English.
- Based near Sheraton Al Nozha or willing to commute daily.
- Available full-time and able to commit to a consistent on-site schedule.
- A strong portfolio that demonstrates cinematic editing and clean motion design.
