About Madinat Jumeirah

About the Job

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Waiter tojoin Madinat Jumeirah Resort from September 2026 onwards.

The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Delivered exceptional guest service by welcoming, seating, and assisting guests while providing menu recommendations, daily specials, and accommodating dietary requirements.
• Took accurate food and beverage orders, communicated special requests to the kitchen and bar, and ensured timely, high-quality service throughout the dining experience.
• Processed guest payments using the MICROS POS system, managed billing, and handled various payment methods with accuracy.
• Maintained compliance with alcohol service regulations by verifying guest identification and adhering to local legal requirements.
• Monitored assigned restaurant sections to ensure efficient operations, resolved guest concerns promptly, and consistently achieved high levels of guest satisfaction.
• Collaborated closely with front-of-house, bar, and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service, while supporting daily operational needs and maintaining luxury hospitality standards.

About You

The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

• Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Industry
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Opera (Cloud).
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
• 1-2 years of experience in guest service-related work in a 5-star hotel
