We are expanding our engineering presence in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and hiring a Senior Web Developer for an internal role working on the core Next Match AI platform used by job seekers and employers worldwide.
About the Role
As a Senior Web Developer, you will help lead the design and development of our web experience, including:
- Candidate onboarding and resume flows
- Employer dashboards and analytics
- Internal tools for our operations and growth teams
You will be hands-on with code, contribute to architecture and technical direction, and mentor other developers. You will work closely with product, design, and data teams in a remote-friendly, international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain modern, responsive web applications
- Lead implementation of complex features from idea to production
- Architect and develop reusable front-end components and, ideally, full-stack solutions
- Integrate with REST or GraphQL APIs and work with databases where required
- Optimize performance, security and reliability across the platform
- Participate in code reviews and help define coding standards and best practices
- Collaborate with product and design on requirements, UX flows and edge cases
- Mentor mid-level and junior developers and support their technical growth
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in web development
- At least 2 years in a senior or lead engineer role
- Strong expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Experience with at least one modern framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
- Solid experience with at least one backend stack (e.g. Node.js, Python, PHP, Java, .NET)
- Familiarity with relational or NoSQL databases, APIs, and Git
- Understanding of scalable architectures, caching, and basic DevOps practices
- Strong grasp of responsive design, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic is a strong plus
- Must be currently residing in Saudi Arabia and able to work KSA business hours
Nice to Have
- TypeScript and frameworks like Next.js
- Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure and CI/CD pipelines
- Background in SaaS, marketplaces, or HR tech
- Portfolio or GitHub with examples of production-level work
