We are looking for an experienced Senior Wireless Network Engineer to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of our carrier-grade wireless backbone network.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support high-capacity wireless backbone nodes, backhaul links, and Point-to-Point (PtP) / Point-to-Multipoint (PtMP) systems.
- Execute precise RF frequency planning, capacity modeling, and continuous network optimization.
- Proactively monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive timely upgrades.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain core wireless, routing, and switching infrastructure.
- Coordinate seamless implementation and support activities across internal teams, field engineers, and colocation partners.
- Execute rigorous preventive and corrective maintenance protocols to guarantee high availability.
- Evaluate emerging wireless technologies and champion forward-thinking network enhancements.
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date technical documentation and operational procedures.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- 5–8 years of hands-on experience in fixed wireless network deployment and operations.
- Proven experience in ISP or carrier-grade network environments is highly preferred.
- Practical, hands-on experience with Ubiquiti, Cambium, and MikroTik wireless solutions.
- Strong analytical thinking, advanced troubleshooting capabilities, and exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Certifications
- Ubiquiti, Cambium, and MikroTik certifications.
- Cisco Network and Fortinet Security certifications.
