Rocky Real Estate is seeking a Senior WordPress Developer & Website Strategist to own the company's website ecosystem end to end. This role goes beyond development and focuses on building a high-performing, secure, and scalable website that supports marketing, lead generation, and business growth. You will act as the technical authority for WordPress while aligning website strategy with commercial goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Own website architecture, roadmap, and long-term strategy
- Design, develop, and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and integrations
- Ensure website performance, security, uptime, and scalability
- Optimize Core Web Vitals, page speed, and user experience
- Implement technical SEO, analytics, and conversion optimization best practices
- Integrate WordPress with CRMs, marketing tools, APIs, and third-party platforms
- Collaborate with design, marketing, and leadership teams
- Review code, guide best practices, and manage vendors or freelancers
- Maintain documentation, deployment workflows, and QA processes
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on WordPress development experience
- Strong expertise in PHP, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience with custom theme and plugin development
- Solid understanding of performance optimization, security, and SEO
- Familiarity with analytics tools (GA, GTM) and CRO principles
- Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently
