Senoir Accountant

Responsibilities:

• -Manage and review daily accounting transactions, ensuring accurate recording of all financial entries.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring proper follow-up on outstanding balances.
• Handle monthly closing activities and support the preparation of accurate financial reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow movements.
• Review expenses and revenues to ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support management decision-making.
• Assist in tax-related activities and coordinate with external auditors when required.
• Maintain proper financial documentation and ensure compliance with accounting procedures.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs and production variances.
• Review junior accountants work and provide guidance and support when needed.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• -Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in accounting, with proven experience as a Senior Accountant.
• Previous experience working in an industrial/manufacturing company is required.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Good understanding of Egyptian accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience supervising or mentoring junior accounting staff.
