Description: We are looking for a Server to take and deliver orders in our restaurant. The right Server uplifts the dining experience for customers, providing prompt, courteous service and ensuring that guests have a pleasant and memorable dining experience. The ideal candidate will be friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about our menu offerings.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
- Present menus and answer questions about menu items, making recommendations upon request.
- Take accurate food and drink orders and communicate details to kitchen staff.
- Serve food and beverages to guests at their tables.
- Ensure guests are satisfied with their dining experience and promptly address any issues.
- Process payments and handle cash or credit transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including resetting tables after guests leave.
- Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure efficient service.
- Provide excellent customer service and create a positive experience for guests.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a Server or Waitstaff in a restaurant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Friendly and customer-oriented attitude.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations.
