Location:- Dammam Second Industrial Area
Role Summary:- Responsible for coordinating and managing directional drilling operations, ensuring execution in line with client requirements, operational performance targets, and HSE standards. Acts as the key interface between field teams, engineering, and the client.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily directional drilling operations and support real-time decision-making
- Manage and support DD, MWD/LWD field engineers
- Ensure alignment with client drilling program and objectives
- Monitor drilling performance (ROP, NPT, trajectory compliance) and drive optimization
- Maintain strong client communication and relationship management
- Ensure accurate reporting and data quality during operations
- Qualifications/Requirements:
- Job Cycle Management
- Lead pre-job planning (well program review, BHA selection, risk assessment)
- Oversee execution phase (performance monitoring, troubleshooting, optimization)
- Ensure post-job reporting, documentation, and lessons learned capture
- Leadership & Coordination
- Experience managing field engineers and multi-discipline teams
- Provide guidance, coaching, and ensure operational discipline
- Act as focal point for escalations and operational decisions

Essential Requirements of the role (Experience / Skills / Competencies):-
- Years of experience: Minimum 5 years of Directional Drilling (DD) experience Preferred experience in Saudi Arabia (Aramco environment) / Experience in HTHP wells is highly preferred / Background in RSS and motor drilling operations
- Field of experience: Directional Drilling (DD), MWD/LWD operations, Well Construction / Drilling Services
Technical Skills:
- Directional drilling & trajectory control

- Real-time drilling data monitoring & optimization
- Drilling software (e.g., Well planning & real-time monitoring systems)

- Industry Background or Experience (Required / Preferred): Oil & Gas – Drilling Services (Directional Drilling)
Experience in Saudi Arabia / Aramco operations is highly preferred
- Off-limits Companies: Direct competitors currently engaged in sensitive contracts with Baker Hughes (case-by-case basis)
- Required Accreditations / Qualifications / Certification / Licenses including Driving License:
- Valid driving license
- H2S certification
- IWCF / IADC (preferred)
