About the Role
We are seeking a Service Design Architect Information Security to join our client's team in Doha. This freelance opportunity is designed for elite builders who are passionate about shaping secure, innovative service architectures that drive real business impact. What You'll Be Doing
- Design and develop advanced service design security solutions aligned with client requirements, business goals, and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement service design methodologies, frameworks, and standards.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of client needs, business processes, and technical requirements to create innovative, efficient service solutions.
- Lead user research, interviews, and surveys to identify opportunities for service improvement and innovation.
- Maintain and enhance service quality by tracking metrics, participating in audits, and implementing corrective actions.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to service design teams, ensuring successful project execution and delivery.
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, integrating them into service design strategies to drive continuous improvement.
- Support the implementation of monitoring tools for IT infrastructure, software, and resource utilization.
- Establish and manage comprehensive capacity planning processes at enterprise, system, and component levels.
- Work closely with Security Operations and Compliance teams to ensure security reviews and requirements are feasible and compliant with regulations.
What We're Looking For

- 5-6 years of experience in technology services, information security, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent.
Technical Skills & Experience
- Expertise in service design principles, methodologies, and tools for complex information security solutions.
- Hands-on experience with technologies such as DLP, PAM, IAM, MDM, DNS security, FIM, deception solutions, NGFW, XDR, SIEM, SOAR, email security, proxy, and WAF.
- Proficient in systems coding, security analysis, data modeling, and database management.
- Deep understanding of enterprise technologies: data centers (Tier-III), WAN/MAN/LAN networks, enterprise storage, server technologies, and enterprise applications (ERP, BI, CRM, CMS).
- Experience designing information security solutions in MSSP and cloud environments.
- Familiarity with architecture frameworks for service design, definitions, and documentation.
Language Proficiency
- Professional proficiency in English is required.
Other Requirements
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar project frameworks is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
