Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive
Service Desk & Support Engineer to join our IT support team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless operation of IT services. You will be the first point of contact for end users, assisting with both hardware and software problems in a professional and timely manner.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Technical skills: Knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, network troubleshooting, and hardware configurations.
- Customer service: Strong communication skills with a customer-centric approach to support and problem-solving.
- Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot and think critically under pressure to resolve technical issues quickly.
- Experience: Previous experience in IT support or a similar role preferred.
- Certification: IT certifications such as CompTIA A+, ITIL, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) are a plus.
- Organizational skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork: Comfortable collaborating with colleagues and supporting the broader IT team to ensure smooth operations.
