Job Title: Service Engineer - Chemical division - Abu Dhabi

Job Purpose

The Service Engineer (SE) will be responsible for providing on-site technical customer service. This position will include chemistry tests, chemical feed and control equipment and chemical skid, chemical inventory management, technical recommendations, and written service reports. This is a customer-facing position.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide routine service support to Sales Representatives in strategic chemical accounts to execute agreed upon customer system assurance and continuous improvement plans
• Monitoring and reporting the oil field chemicals performance (Process and water treatment specialty chemicals) in the field as per the customer requirements and service contracts.
• Leading and participating the customers meetings in the field
• Assist Sales Representatives with plant surveys of prospective customers
• Coordinate with sales engineers and update him with site demands and site system operational conditions.
• Assist Sales Representatives with start-ups of new applications in both existing customers and in new accounts
• Develop strong relationships with the key customers
• Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer pain points, escalating as required
• Engage in problem-solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels;
• Support services include: Sample testing, customer service, Chemical dosage recommendation, service report generation, chemical ordering, chemical inventory management,
• Handling QMS & HSE requirements for chemical and process department
• Following internal and customer Health, Safety and Environment policies to ensure safety and compliance
• Ensuring continuous improvement and leading special projects that deliver improved services for our customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering
• Min +5 years UAE experience in Process and Water treatment application or specialty chemical industry experience
• Working knowledge of Process treatment chemical application (Corrosion inhibitors, Antiscalants, Demulsifier , Biocides, Antifoams, DRA)
• Working knowledge of boilers, cooling towers, and wastewater treatment systems
• Proof records of ADNOC site jobs and visits
• Have strong relationship skills
• Have UAE driving license
• Fluent in English and other language is plus
