Compressor Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Service Engineer required to join a global compressed air manufacturer.

The Successful Compressor Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Service Engineer will provide technical engineering support over the phone as well as electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance on compressed air equipment at customer sites across the UAEU, West Africa, and the surrounding areas when required.

The Service Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Technical Installation Engineer must have a field Service background in compressed air systems and be able to speak fluent English and French. Full manufacturing training is provided.

Compressor Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Service Engineer Role: To provide technical support to field service engineers on electrical and mechanical repair, service, and maintenance of compressed air equipment at customer sites. The Compressor Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, and fault finding of technical compressed air systems. Develop and present training programs to end users and distributors on operation and maintenance.

Help to maintain, repair and install air compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers & dryers, nitrogen generators and other compressed air and pneumatic equipment in Dubai, West Africa and the surrounding areas

Providing technical instructions to those installing compressed air/water & nitrogen pipelines into all forms of the manufacturing industry. Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various compressed air equipment. Liaise with various engineering departments.

Compressor Engineer / Technical Service Support Engineer / Service Engineer Requirements: Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems. French and English speaking with an understanding of Arabic. Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.The ability to maintain good professional working relationships with existing and new customers. Good working knowledge of three-phase electrics and controls is advantageous. Field servicing background in technical compressed air systems. Full product training provided. A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous. Willingness to travel and commute to Dubai and travel to the USA for training.
