The opportunity
The LSU Service Sales Manager is responsible for defining, leading, and executing the Services Sales strategy in Saudi Arabia. This role leads and develops the Country Services Sales team, driving profitable growth across the entire service lifecycle. This position ensures strong alignment with Hitachi Energy's global and Hub service strategies while effectively addressing local market needs evolving market trends. A key focus is to maximize installed base (IB) penetration, generate and grow sustainable service revenues, and strengthen long-term customer relationships.
How You'll Make An Impact
- Lead, coach, and develop the Saudi Arabia Services Sales organization, ensuring high performance, engagement, and continuous capability development.
- Drive effective collaboration across a matrix organization, aligning Country, Hub, BU, and Global stakeholders.
- Actively demonstrate and embed the One Hitachi Energy approach, guiding direct and indirect reports.
- Identify, generate, and pursue new service business opportunities and partnerships across the Saudi market.
- Drive structured service sales lead generation through detailed analysis of Installed Base (IB) potential.
- Work closely with country Local Sales teams, Account Managers and other Business Units Service Sales team to develop and execute service-focused account plans for the country.
- Own and execute the Country Services Sales strategy, ensuring achievement of order intake, revenue, margin, and growth targets.
- Responsible for LSU budgeting, sales & operations planning, in close coordination with the Hub Marketing & Sales Manager, Global Product Group (GPG), and Hub Controller.
- Lead installed base analysis and segmentation to identify lifecycle opportunities including service contracts, upgrades, retrofits, spares, digital and advanced services.
- Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key Saudi customers and decision-makers, working jointly with Account Managers, and Country Sales Team.
- Conduct detailed market and competitive analysis to support pricing, positioning, and commercial decisions.
- Drive sales efficiency by ensuring the Services Sales team has the right skills, organization, and capacity to deliver sustainable growth.
- Ensure ongoing training, coaching, and capability building across technical, commercial, and customer skills.
- Coach the team in sales planning, negotiation, customer segmentation, and value-based selling.
- Balance growth ambitions with margin protection and risk management.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in electrical power, energy, and industry.
- Minimum 10 years in Managing Service Sales function.
- Proven Service Sales leadership experience in an OEM environment with large installed base management.
- Demonstrated experience leading, coaching, and developing Service Sales & Marketing teams to achieve growth targets.
- Experience managing multi-product and multi-service portfolios across the service lifecycle.
- Experience within the Saudi Arabian market, including utilities, industry, and infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of Saudi localization, contracting, and regulatory requirements.
- Solid understanding of Hitachi Energy products and systems (or equivalent).
- Proficiency in both spoken & written in English & Arabic language is required.
