Position: Servicenow Developer

Location: Dubai, UAE

Experience: 4+ years

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of custom-scoped ServiceNow applications.
• Define and configure complex workflows, business rules, notifications, and data models.
• Design and enforce role-based security models (ACLs) aligned with enterprise standards.
• Guide junior developers and review configurations for quality and best practices.
• Work closely with Architects, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
• Ensure all developments are upgrade-safe, performance-optimized, and compliant with ServiceNow standards.
• Own deployment activities across non-production and production environments.
• Support release planning, change requests, and production stabilization.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation and conduct structured knowledge transfer.

Mandatory Skills – ServiceNow Developer

• 4+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience
• Strong JavaScript & Glide API skills
• Custom scoped application development using ServiceNow Studio
• Experience with Flow Designer / Workflows
• Hands-on with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions
• Strong ACLs & role-based security (RBAC)
• Experience building custom tables, data models & relationships
• Basic reports / dashboards / list views
• Upgrade-safe, configuration-first development
• Experience with enterprise change & release processes
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Mandatory
• No external integrations / no data migration experience required
