Shift Operator SMP 1 / DRP 1 / WTP (Steel Industry)

Must Have Steel Industry Experience

Minimum Education Qualification (Education Degree)

Technical School

Any preferred professional training

. Exposure to Computers

. Ability to read & understand engineering drawing

Professional Experience (Must haves)

. 3-5 years of experience in Machine Shop of Steel Plant or heavy industry as machinist

Previous Experience/exposure Recommendations

. Ensure 100% operation of machine

. Safe Operation of Machine tools

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Facilitation and Implementation:

. To operate machine tool to make work piece / spare as per drawing / sample given

. To follow standard operating procedure & quality systems

. To follow instruction from Sr. Machine Shop Operator / Supervisor & responsible for giving required service in shift for plant down day, major shutdown, breakdown or spares

Health Safety & Environment:

. Safe operation of machine tools

. Implement safety procedures along with the supervisor on the shop floor

Equipment Handling:

. To coordinate with regular Work shop staff and setting the machine as required for the operation

. To communicate with supervisor on any deviations and guidance
