Production Team Leader

Location: Obour City

Purpose of the job:

responsible for executing the daily production plan efficiently by ensuring high productivity, minimizing losses, and maintaining full compliance with GMP, GHP, safety, and quality standards within the production area.

Role Description:

• Lead daily production operations to ensure achievement of production targets
• Coordinate with Supply Chain to execute the production plan efficiently
• Supervise operators and ensure proper machine operation, processing, packaging, and sorting activities
• Ensure full compliance with safety rules, GMP, and GHP standards
• Monitor productivity, quality, and losses and take corrective actions when needed
• Manage daily workforce attendance and shift organization
• Prepare and report production performance and operational results
• Train, guide, and develop production operators to improve performance
• Conduct performance evaluations and support continuous improvement
• Act as a communication bridge between workers and management to resolve operational issues
• Ensure efficient use of raw materials and reduce production waste
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized production environment

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor of Engineering in reputable university, ideally in agricultural or science.
• Up to 10 years of experience in food manufacturing at least 3 years as TL role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), familiarity with ERP systems, document management systems, and virtual communication tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities
• Structured and organized working style
• High level of responsibility and commitment
• Ability to work under pressure and meet production targets
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Team-oriented mindset
• Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
