Job Purpose :
Responsible for all vessels pre and post fixture activities, reports and ensuring all are aligned with the charter party terms and company policies. This role involves coordinating with technical managers, in house technical team, charterers, vessel and other stakeholders to ensure smooth turn around for the vessel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Update vessels itinerary for charterers/brokers in accordance with Charter Party provisions. Keeping internal VMS(IMOS) updated on a daily basis. To ensure that IMOS P&L is correct at all times.
- Liaising with charterers, Vessel and chartering team for Pre-fixture clearances
- Bunkering arrangements, liaising with suppliers, agents, vessel to ensure no delays in bunkering.
- Send voyage orders and monitor progress of vessels. Required to pre-empt issues and avoid any delays which could hit our bottom line.
- Execute voyage planning in discussion with operations manager
- Liaising with vessel and technical management for tank preparation prior arrival load port.
- Receiving LOIs in accordance with charter party terms and conditions.
- Liaise with Charterers, Agents to ensure smooth operations to avoid disruption and to optimize vessel returns and usage.
- Ensure that bunker procurement is optimized in terms of location and cost in close liaison with the Freight Traders and in line with Company policy and guidelines.
- Liaising with agents, Receiving / Analysing PDAs/ FDAs and ensuring PDAs/ FDAs settled in time.
- Tracking payable and receivable invoices, ensure timely payment. Ensuring timely invoicing on the voyage.
- Preparing daily, monthly reports in line with instructions.
- Ad-Hoc requests as per line manager's instructions

Qualifications & Background :
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3+ years work experience in a shipping/ trading operations role in Tanker industry
- Tanker's operations experience, IMOS experience is a plus, Sailing experience is a plus.
- Good understanding of Charter Parties Terms.
- Ability to work under pressure and with high resilience.
- Good stakeholder management and ability to display team spirit.
- Due to the nature of shipping, this is a 24/7 role. Working outside office hours is expected.
