Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Shop Assistant role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Shop Assistant will support day-to-day store operations, including welcoming customers, answering product questions, and assisting with selection and purchases. Responsibilities include handling transactions at the cash desk, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining accurate records. The role involves organizing and replenishing stock, keeping shelves and displays clean and well-arranged, and monitoring inventory levels. The Shop Assistant will also help with basic store housekeeping, follow safety and company procedures, and collaborate with the team to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

Ability to provide attentive customer service, communicate clearly with diverse customers, and manage basic sales interactions.
Competence in handling cash, operating a point-of-sale system, and following standard transaction and reconciliation procedures.
Strong organizational skills for stocking, labeling, and maintaining product displays in a clean and orderly manner.
Basic knowledge or interest in automotive and motorcycle products, with willingness to learn and stay informed about the range of items offered.
Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to stand for extended periods, perform light physical tasks, and follow safety guidelines.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, follow instructions from supervisors, and adapt to changing store needs.
Previous experience in retail or customer-facing roles is beneficial but not mandatory; on-the-job training may be provided.
Fluency in English is preferred; additional language skills relevant to the local customer base are an advantage.
